Miss Vic's Drama Room provides the room for our performers to gain self confidence while acquiring a discipline that takes courage, an immense amount of focus, and a fabulous sense of humor.

The Drama Room concentrates on the actors tools- their VOICE, BODY, and IMAGINATION. No experience on stage or in the theatre is necessary. Classes and workshops are designed for certain ages, but the Drama Room obtains the right to move young performers into the class that fits the individual's needs. Miss Vic's wants everyone to feel comfortable because that is when the "magic" happens. At the end of the fall workshops there is no performance in order to give our performers the room they need to GROW (The Studio will present some work at the local coffee shop).

Workshops are highly recommended alongside the performance program for ages 8 and up.

I have watched the theatre literally change the lives of children and teens- including myself. At Miss Vic's, I try and create a room where everyone is taking care of each other. I want each and every person in rehearsal to care about the people onstage, the crew in the wings, the writer that provides the story, and the moms that sew the buttons. We create a theatre family. A family that works hard together to produce good theatre. There are no STARS at Miss Vic's. We are all one great big company looking to tell a story the best way we can and GROW together along the way."
