The Green Room in the theatre is a place where actors wait during rehearsals or performance. At Miss Vic's it is where our young actors learn the skills to get them to that place.

The Green Room concentrates in fostering self esteem in our young people while simultaneously striving for theatrical excellence. Every actor, no matter what their age, needs to go back to the BASICS of acting. The Green Room provides the space for our young performers to do just that in a supportive, yet challenging environment.

The Green Room strives to offer a group experience where young performers will not only learn theatrical vocabulary and tools but will foster friendships with children all over the community.

The Green Room focuses on the actor's tools- IMAGINATION, BODY, and VOICE. Performers will work to discover truth in their work. Young performers will do everything from monologue work to improvisational exercises. The workshop will go at the pace of the group.

The final class day of each session will include a PARENT OBSERVATION DAY. On that day, we will invite parents to come in and observe the material and skills acquired over the ten week session.
